These intricate kits consist primarily of computer-designed plastic
parts. Most underbody components are cast in metal for added
weight. Similar to designs in HO scale, the body-mounted coupler
pockets are integrated into the underframe. Accu-Mate couplers are
supplied, but the models easily will accept Micro-Trains 1015 coupler
knuckles.
