This product line was first released by ESMC in the Summer of 2000.
Each kit is based on a specific eastern railroad prototype. The
initial releases included highly-detailed etched and plated brass sides;
the full American Limited passenger car core kit with roof, floor, ends,
underbody details, trucks and operating diaphragms; Micro-Trains® standard couplers; metal weight; custom
decals with full car rosters; stainless steel grabiron/handrail wire; and
blue tint and frosted opaque window film.
